#Xinjiang #China #Muslims Mubarak Mugabo is a journalist from Uganda who is now studying International Relations at Peking University. As a Muslim himself, he was a bit scared before visiting Xinjiang as many international media and Western governments accuse China for committing genocide and oppressing Muslims. Yet when he was actually in Xinjiang, not only did he not see any trace of those alleged crimes towards Muslims, he has great communications with the Muslim communities and did his prayers in the mosques in Xinjiang. In this episode, Mubarak shared his observations in Xinjiang and his take on the need to eradicate extremism. Mubarak Mugabo's Twitter: https://twitter.com/mubarakUG
