Booker tells us about his harrowing experience of abuse and torture in police custody and prison, the conditions there, the class and imperialist politics involved in his and the wider movement for anti-imperialist sovereignty in Kenya. Despite these horrific abuses he suffered, he inspires us with his clear and uncompromising analysis.
