At least 40 Algerians were detained at Cairo airport upon arrival and held for 24 hours, before being deported. More than 10 Moroccans were turned back at the airport and several Turkish citizens were also detained from outside their Cairo hotel for holding Palestinian flags. Other nationals, including French and other European nationalities, have also been prevented from entering or detained without explanation. With more than 55,000 Palestinians killed, and with close to the entire population of the besieged strip being starved, activists say it's time to take matters into their own hands.
